Mahny Djahanguiri is the UK and Europe’s leading founder of DOGA -Yoga for you and your Dog .
She founded Dogamahny Ltd in 2018 leading London based Dogamahny TM classes and international Dogamahny TM workshops.
She was born in Switzerland to a British mother and Iranian father. Since the age of seven, she spent most of her time surrounded by nature in the Swiss Alps spending as much time as possible with animals. Her love for animals lead her to write her first children’s book, “The Story of a Girl and a Mouse”, which follows a mouse with yogic super powers.
In 2009 she visited Los Angeles for a yoga workshop .There she had a “Eureka Moment.” on Venice beach as she observed owners meditating with their dogs during a glorious sunset. Her love for teaching yoga and her unconditional love for dogs lead her to combine the two most favourite things. She developed her own brand and teaching style throughout the past eight years and began teaching DOGA at Harrods Pet Spa in 2012.
Dogamahny TM is a human yoga practice that involves large and small dogs on a therapeutic level.
She is delighted to have published her first DOGA book with Hamlyn /Hachette which is a sell-out on Amazon. She’s currently working on her second book “The Psychology of Doga ” which explores human -canine relationships from a psychological and physiological perspective and provides numerous therapeutic DOGA solutions that support humans (children included ) with stress and anxiety.
